Shannon McCray

Shannon McCray is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Chicago, Illinois and holds two master’s degrees: one in African American Studies and another in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Shannon’s professional work addresses the intersections of racial trauma, community violence, childhood adverse experiences, organizing for social change and spirituality and faith.

Additionally, Shannon is a professional consultant and trainer, facilitating professional development workshops for other professionals that are gender-responsive, trauma-informed, socially just, and culturally responsive.
