Maripili has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor's Degree in English Language Teaching, a Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology, certified by the ITESM-ICT in Executive Coaching, in Positive Leadership by UPEACE and Agile Coach by New Agile Academy and Florida University.
She worked at American Airlines in Guadalajara since 1989, for 10 years; growing professionally until being named Western Area Sales Manager. She made commercial visits to the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia and Central America.
In 1999 she moved to live in Guatemala where she worked as Commercial Manager in the company CLARKTOURS, a wholesale tourism operating company, with clients in the East and Europe. She had the opportunity to travel throughout Central America, visiting potential clients and receptive tourism companies.
In 2002 she returned to Mexico and began her collaboration at the Tecnologico de Monterrey. In 2004 she was appointed Academic Coordinator of EGADE in San Luis. Starting in 2011, she fully integrated into the Business School, first as an Academic Advisor, then as Academic Director of Humanities, Languages and Communication and in January 2017 she was classified as Consulting Professor and was appointed Director of the Language Center and Writing Center, until 2022, when she began her own consulting firm.
She is an instructor/trainer for Continuing Education programs and a certified instructor by Continental Tires and BOSCH to teach their internal trainings. She is certified in Positive Leadership, Agile Coaching and Storytelling for business.
