Roger Fernandes is a Native American educator, storyteller, and artist. He works to combine these elements of his work to help others see and utilize the innate talents they hold. He is a member of the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe of western Washington and was born and raised in Seattle. He is a practicing artist and teaches at a variety of educational entities like the University of Washington, Highland College, and The Northwest Indian College. He has a B.A. in Native American Studies form The Evergreen State College and an M.A. in Whole Systems Design from Antioch University. He now lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
