She currently serves as Senior Director of Talent, Inclusion & Employee Brand and Global Head of Early Careers at Aptiv, where she leads global talent strategy, leadership development, employer branding, and future-skills initiatives across more than 50 countries.
At Aptiv, Adonica partners with senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, build future-ready talent pipelines, and scale enterprise programs that connect learning, culture, and performance. Her work focuses on translating big-picture strategy into practical systems that accelerate innovation, strengthen trust, and equip organizations for rapid technological and market shifts.
Adonica brings a distinctive perspective shaped by her legal background and early career training, which informs how she approaches governance, risk, stakeholder accountability, and decision quality across business priorities. She integrates that discipline into executive strategy, enabling leaders to navigate complexity with clarity while sustaining credibility, transparency, and responsible innovation.
Previously, Adonica served as Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion at LexisNexis Legal & Professional, where she implemented global frameworks that advanced representation, engagement, and leadership development. She also founded and led the African Ancestry Network / Rule of Law Foundation Fellowship, expanding its impact internationally to create pathways for underrepresented legal talent and to strengthen the rule of law globally.
Adonica holds a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. Beyond her corporate work, she serves on PILnet’s Global Board of Directors, is Vice President of the Duke University Alumni Global Board of Directors, and is a trustee of Pine Crest School. She has delivered keynotes and talks for global audiences across universities, multinational organizations, and major conferences, bringing a practical, high-trust approach that helps leaders build cultures and talent systems that make innovation real.
