Erin Reddick

Founder and CEO of ChatBlackGPT, AI Cultural Technologist

Fields of expertise:

Erin Reddick is an AI cultural technologist and the founder & CEO of ChatBlackGPT™, a pioneering AI chatbot designed to provide insights rooted in Black history, culture, and lived experience. Her work sits at the intersection of technology, race, and justice, ensuring that Black perspectives are not an afterthought in the age of artificial intelligence.

Before launching ChatBlackGPT, Erin built her career inside some of the world's largest tech companies, including Meta and Amazon Web Services, where she worked in program management, technical sourcing, and engagement roles that gave her a front-row seat to how products are built and deployed at scale. CAs a certified ChatGPT expert and prompt engineer, she turned that experience into a mission: to confront racial bias in AI systems and create tools that are culturally aware, historically honest, and community-serving.

ChatBlackGPT now serves students, educators, activists, healthcare professionals, and policymakers as a trusted resource on the African American experience and the broader African diaspor supporting everything from classroom learning to advocacy campaigns and inclusive policy design.

Erin is a sought-after keynote speaker and public interest technologist who has shared her work with audiences at the Association of African-American Financial Advisors' V.I.S.I.O.N Conference, First-Gens in Tech by HubSpot, the Black Joy AI Summit, the White House Initiative's National HBCU Week Conference, Scripps College, Phillips Academy's Tang Institute, the Women in Tech Regatta, and the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, among others.

Across every stage, Erin's message is clear: if AI is going to shape our future, Black technologists, communities, and cultural knowledge must shape AI.
