As Founder and CEO of VaLarie Humphrey, LLC, Dr. Humphrey provides keynote presentations, DISC training, leadership coaching, and consulting services for educational institutions, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and professional associations. Dr. Humphrey currently serves as the District Student Success Coordinator for DuPage High School District 88, where she leads innovative initiatives focused on student achievement, leadership development, mentoring, and family engagement. Throughout her distinguished career, she has served as an adjunct professor at Aurora University, principal of an alternative middle school, assistant principal, diversity coordinator, and International Director of Education for School Days with Eric Thomas, LLC, where she led professional development and DISC training initiatives on a national and global scale.
She earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Coaching and Mentoring from Aurora University, a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Benedictine University, and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Western Illinois University. Her doctoral research explored the impact of DISC influenced teaching practices on creating more inclusive learning environments, further establishing her expertise in communication, leadership, and human behavior.
An accomplished author and recognized thought leader, Dr. Humphrey has written three books and has delivered presentations for conferences, corporations, universities, accounting firms, leadership organizations, and school systems nationwide. Her areas of expertise include leadership development, DISC behavioral styles, workplace communication, team effectiveness, diversity and inclusion, mentoring, employee engagement, and educational excellence.
