Hector Minto is an internationally recognised accessibility and assistive technology expert with over 25 years of experience championing the use of technology to empower people with disabilities. He is a disability inclusion advocate and former Global Accessibility Leader at Microsoft, where he worked to advance inclusive design, accessible technology and disability inclusion across organisations worldwide.
Throughout his career, Hector has specialised in assistive technology, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), eye-tracking technology, gesture technology and digital accessibility. He has worked with businesses, governments and technology innovators to develop solutions that remove barriers and enable people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities to participate more fully in education, employment and society.
Hector has also contributed to UK government consultations on disability inclusion and currently serves as the UK Government's Disability and Access Ambassador for the technology sector and websites. Through his work, he encourages organisations to embrace inclusive hiring, accessible digital experiences and technology-driven solutions that create more equitable workplaces.
